Oh the simplicity and chicness of trouser sets.. I’m not talking suits this time, just fun relaxed sets that can be dress up or down depending on the occasion. nipped in at the waist or let loose for a more casual look.
I have had this suit sat dormant in my wardrobe (i mean storage) for several years.. oh the gems i hoard and refuse to let go.. good job coz this one is a sure keeper and I am definitely back in love with it… an old spurge from Hugo Boss.. but fear not similar styles are a plenty everywhere on the high street and designer outlets alike.. with fresh modern twist.
But all hail this suit that stands the test of time… My thing, splurge on classics that has a great return of investment and skimp on things that i feel that may only last me a few seasons before its ready for the charity bag.
I nipped this suit in with a standard belt my brother in law dashed (gave) me when i was 15.. nothing fancy just ya average belt with the right tone of brown that has had me hanging on to it decades later.. this look is then brought together with on of my fave style of shoe… the court shoe, but not just any court shoe.. the ‘So Kate’ which i say is the most perfect court shoes out there… if you beg to differ and can recommend anything as good or even better (thats cheaper) then plzzz let me hear it.
All in all i truly love this look, and i plan on keeping this suit in arms length Throughout spring and summer, so brace yourselves, you’ll be seeing more of this in all sorts of fabulous ways (well as fabulous as one can dress a simple waist coat and trousers 🙂
Check out other sets I have my eyes on 😉
Till next time my lovelies
