WHERE’S THAT FROM? YOU ASK. . . . .

gall-wheres-from

I know the frustrations, I am that person that stops people on the street, to ask where their coat, shoes, bag. hat is from so i get it.
I too want access to what ever it is i see and like so when i am unable to offer this, i am really sorry and can only promise to search high and low to give you the best alternative to the outfits i post.

From a very early age, I was always the one that did things (and dressed) a little different – when everyone was wearing the IT kickers boots I was looking and needing to have something different. It was a thing for me to never blend in with the crowd, rather go out of my way to get something that not everyone had and to do it my way (even if I knew my way wasn’t as nice – but it was not like everyone else and so that also stood precedent for me) I some how relaxed a little on the extreme need to be different as I got older but its still a driving force for how I put things together and what I choose to buy.

My clothes consist of highend to low end to cheap vintage on ebay, bespoke tailor made to Unusual gem finds from abroad and I believe in a great mix of all the above. Its never about price tags for me and Wearing designers is not what makes me feel stylish. I just love what I love, for the cut, fit, fabric and style and originality (which admittedly usually comes with a high price tag) and putting a “sade creative spin” on things. I like to think I have a nack for just making something out of nothing – that’s the shrewd resourcefulness in me!

Most of the clothes I have and wear are not new at all – I have a +20year old clothes shoes and bag collection – yes! I have (by force by fire!) remained pretty much the same clothes size for the best part of 20 years.
I personally make clothes myself, have things bespoke tailor made and where I travel a lot I buy abroad a lot more then I buy in the UK – and for these reasons, i do not always have links to exact items but like i previously promised I will always seek to give links to the closest and best alternatives!

This printed suit was made for me in Thailand. It was a great and Cheap alternative to buying a well fitted suit and if if you are ever in Asia you should do the same. Perfectly tailor fitted and with the best part being that it can be made in less then 24 hours – so even if you are just having a short stopover you should explore that option. I have had a lot of blazers, suits and coats made from Asia. in fact i make a point to always do this when ever i holiday there.

Sade, girl! I just drool over your offerings on the daily! You never disappoint and the fact that you not being a label ‘groupie’ makes me love you even more, but you also understand quality comes with a price.I swear I was reading this thinking ‘did I write this?’ lol.I have always been drawn to the unique and non standard as well.I enjoy being EXTRA in my own little quirky way.You are stunning , which I know you know that but you deserve to hear it again.Anywhoo, stay fabulous and I look forward to future slayings!

Thank you so much for your kind words Hun. Yep style over labels all day! But no denying that style + quality does usually come in the form of labels haha – the designers are great at what they do and I can only but droll daily at their offerings!
